Wedding Cakes

Branded traditional wedding - dust like our celebration fruit cake this cake is made in the most traditional of ways with only the finest ingredrients.
This richly fruited cake is left to mature for at least 3 months after baking during which time it is fed with after baking, during which time it is fed with french brandy, resulting in a moist, ebony dark, traditional wedding cake. The cake is then covered in a generous layer of white sugar paste and coated in soft icing or royal icing as the design requires.

When you decide on a particular cak featured in this web shop, you can use the various selection options to indicate your preferred style, colour scheme and choice of decorative accessories or codes and you can indicate these when you submit your preliminary enquiry

You will have the option to submit your order as a "preliminary enquiry" and will NOT be asked for any payment at this stage. Because designing your wedding cake is likely to involve considerable discussion and to ensure that it meets all your requirements, Delightful affairs cakes will not proceed with the order until we have talked through the project with you.

When we receive your enquiry, we will contact you to discuss the final design of the cake and to quote you a price for this.

When you authorise us to proceed wwith the project, we will require payment to be made and our payment options will be discussed with you at that point. Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life and we want your cake to be nothing less than perfect

All Delightful Affairs' cakes are baked and decorated in our bakery to our own secret recipes which is done with quality materials. We make variety of cakes, pastries portion and biscuits e.t.c and also bread inclusive.

Celebration Cakes

Sponge cake - A moist closely textured cake with good cutting qualities. There are layers of fresh vanilla butter cream, and then a covering of the best quality sugar paste. Buttering as required.

Celebration fruit cake - Made in the most traditional of ways. The finest quality dried fruit is hand wash and picked over them combined with almonds, finely cut mixed peel, chopped cherries, fresh eggs, brown sugar and spices to name but a few of the ingredients. The cakes are then baked slowly, making them golden in colour and the flavours to marry together giving that quintessential English fruit cake taste/The cake is then covered with sugar paste and coated with white soft icing.

Chocolate mid cake - Dense in texture dark in colour with a good chocolate flower, coupled with the subtle testing sugarpaste and buttering. It is a very enjoyable cak, because of it's soft texture, it is only suitable for simple shaped cakes and not novelty designs for number cakes.

Engagement cake - Made in a traditional way to suite you tradition, and as we know that native attire are highly appreciated, this would be used to very colourful and really elegant. This can come in either fruit,
sponge or madeira.
